    When you submit an enquiry via our website 

    When you submit an enquiry via our website, we ask for your name, contact telephone number and email address.

    We use this information to respond to your query, including the provision of any information requested about our products and services. We may also email you several times following your enquiry in order to confirm your interest and ensure that your enquiry has been answered to your satisfaction. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in providing accurate information prior to a sale.

    Your enquiry is stored and processed as an email which is hosted by Tsohost in the UK. It is also logged on a CRM system on a cloud server based in the EU.

    The information you provide is not used to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

    We retain enquiry emails for two years after which they are securely archived and kept for seven years before being deleted. CRM records are kept for three years after the last contact with you was made.

    When you purchase a product from our website

    When you purchase products from us online, we ask for your name, address, contact telephone number, email address and credit card information. We also record your IP (Internet Protocol) address which is the address of the computer you are using on the internet.

    This information will be used to process your order and dispatch the goods. We will also send you a receipt via email and we may also use your telephone number to contact you regarding your purchase.

    We require this information in order to process your payment, deliver your goods or services and fulfil our contract with you. Your IP address is recorded in order to confirm that the correct tax rate has been applied to the sale which we are required to do by law.

    Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. who provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

    Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. This data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.

    If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify, PayPal or Amazon Pay will store your credit card data which is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). The data referring to your purchase is stored only for as long as is necessary to complete the transaction following which this data is deleted.

    All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

    PCI-DSS requirements help to ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

    We do not retain your credit card information.

    We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

    When you sign up to receive our newsletter

    When you sign up to receive our newsletter, we will request your name and email address and ask for consent to use this information to send our newsletter which contains information about our products and other information that we feel may be of interest to you.

    You can withdraw your consent at any time at which point we will stop sending the newsletter.

    Your name and email address are shared with a third party mailing system which is based in the US and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield.

    We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

    We will retain your personal data for as long as we produce and distribute our newsletter. If you withdraw your consent, your details will be annotated to ensure they are no longer used and these will be deleted after two years.

    When you submit a review about us or our products

    When you submit a review about us, we record your name, email address and IP (Internet Protocol) address which is the address of the computer you are using on the internet.

    This information is used to provide verified independent opinions about our products and services to potential customers. Your name and the content of your review (but not your email or IP address) may be publicly displayed on our website. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in marketing our products and services.

    Your details are shared with a third party reviews system which is based within the UK.

    We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

    Your personal data is stored for as long as we continue to market the product or services that the review refers to, after which time it is deleted. You may request that your review is removed at any time.

    Your rights as a data subject

    By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can request that this be corrected should it be inaccurate. If we have asked for your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

    If we  process your personal data for reasons of consent or to fulfil a contract, you can ask for a copy of the information in a machine-readable format in order that this can be transferred to another provider.

    If we  process your personal data for reasons of consent or legitimate interest, you can request that your data be erased.

    You have the right to request that we stop using your information for a period of time if you believe we are not doing so lawfully.
